Ahhhh, the tween years. Nine is coming from shyness and finding more independence as a young man. Their personality has changed. They are able to have a serious, mature conversation and still find the humor in every day life. They are right around the corner from hitting puberty. They're just shy of double digits. But then there's fart jokes and burping in your face that pulls them back to that little boy who isn't quite grown yet. Nine is a fun age. They are not too old, but not too young. I love this "little big" boy to pieces. Happy Birthday, Liam!
P.S. Please stop growing, little dude. This mama isn't quite ready for what's going to come.
P.S.S. This was Liam's choice of location. He loved the view of the city. This place has turned into our "special place" when we want to get away.
