With Landon being gone for his 19th birthday (Oct. 30th) and Halloween this year (his favorite holiday), it was pretty laid back. Liam didn't want to trick-or-treat. I'm assuming because his brother wasn't around to hang with. He helped us give out candy instead which seemed to make him happy. I think he really enjoyed looking at all of the costumes and trying to figure out who was who of the neighborhood kids. It was a fun night as it always is around The Cove. Some of us like to really decorate for the kids to make even more fun. Aaron is obsessed with decorating and coming up with new ideas every year. He's pretty cute. I think I'll keep him.
Oh yes, and it rained this year. We definitely had a better turnout than I thought we would because of how nasty it was outside. I was glad because we went a little crazy on the candy. Those poor kids were soaked! Luckily, we had a canopy up and a fire going so the kids and their parents could hang out, stay dry and even warm up a little, even if for only a moment or two.
