Senior Night

It's still difficult for me to wrap my head around that Landon will be graduating from high school this year.  Of course, being a senior, there's a lot of festivities that go with it.  Senior Night is one of those festivities.  Landon had to dress up for this event.  To be honest, he's not a big fan of dress clothes.  He finds them to be very uncomfortable, but he dressed up anyway.  He got some awards, a keepsake record for his involvement in the music program (which was totally awesome!), a flower, and even had his senior quote read aloud at the banquet.  It read:

"Make someone laugh every day because the least you can give them is a good memory.  And always be kind because everyone you meet in life is fighting a battle you know nothing about."

There were a lot of  "awes" in the crowd and some hugs and tears amongst friends.  He is such a great human being and I love how soft he can be when the time calls for it.  He doesn't like to show that side too often.  I am forever grateful for his friendships that he has made over the years.  We are beyond proud of this young man and can't wait to see what he does next!
