One Family Picture

I didn't realize we never had a family picture taken with Peyton.  I've always taken pictures of him alone or with the boys, at least some variation, but never the whole family.  After finding this out, I was so happy that I decided to take some quick pictures of all of us.  Peyton was scheduled to go into the vet, so this shoot was very emotional.  You can see that Aaron was about to lose it.  The kids didn't know how to feel.  I was a mess, too.  I was struggling to keep it together.  It's awful when you have to look at a pet every day knowing so many days later will be their last day.  It was heart wrenching.  It hurt so much!  I loved how these turned out.  Never underestimate the power of a camera timer.  I will always cherish these photos for many years to come, I just wish I would have remembered to take more of all of us.
