Bear Hunt & Chalk-A-Walk

This was a fun idea.  The entire neighborhood participated in putting bears (or anything they could find) in their windows so the kids could walk around and find them.  A neighbor and some of the neighborhood kids joined us.  We also participated in the Chalk-A-Walk.  After we drew our chalk masterpieces, we walked around the neighborhood to see what others had drawn.  It's really a fun activity, and quite inspiring!  We saw words of encouragement and pretty pictures.  I think we spent about an hour reading.
