Shine-A-Light with Liam

A few friends of mine sell the USbourne books so I had to give them a go.  Anything to get Liam excited about reading is exactly what we need!  One of the books we got was a Secrets Of Our Earth Shine-A-Light book.  Somehow the book got tucked away and we totally forgot about it.  So, it was time to introduce Liam to something new and exciting.  I let him choose a dark room in the house and he chose our walk-in closet.  I closed the door and turned off the light and then I hear a giggle and a squeal as he tried to get the flash light to come on.  Once it did, it was magic.  I read the story to him and watched the book come to life.  That was probably the best reading experience I had with him.  I look forward to many more Shine-A-Light books and reading time with my son!
