Deam Lake

I've been meaning to gather up the family for a trip to Deam Lake for awhile now. My sister called to ask if we wanted to go, so we were more than ready to pack up our swim gear for a day in the sun. The lake isn't that far away from us, but it felt like a mini vacation. We had a blast! My other sister called a couple days ago and wants to go herself. Guess what? We're going back! I can't wait! Plus, I'll be able to spend time with my great niece and nephew while they're in from Texas.

It was extremely easy getting Liam in the water, but not nearly as easy getting him out. Even after several hours in the lake, it was a problem. I thought more time in the water would help. He threw a major fit. I think bribery may be in our future. One thing I will say that I really liked about this lake is I could sit at the shore line while Liam played in the water about ten feet away. The water doesn't get deep for the little guys until you get pretty far out. We all had a great time and can't wait for round two.
