Kids' College

I never thought my child would ever step into a college before it was time.  The school system offered some of the kids a chance to do something fun and creative this summer.  Landon chose the art class.  He loves to paint, draw, play with chalk, make origami, and anything else you can think of.  The first day of class he was a little nervous so I stayed awhile to make him feel at ease.  He sat there like a good boy while the other parents dropped their kids off before class began.  He gave me a thumbs up when it was time for me to go, as a cue that he no longer needed my services.  I was cramping his style, but he was breaking my heart.  Suddenly I was no longer needed to comfort him.  Suddenly he was too big for his mama.  He loved every minute of it, and made some keepsakes for us to hold on to forever.
