We had crazy weather in December - spring like temps and tornadoes. Then for the next month or so we had snow and ice and very cold temps. Bring on the grocery store chaos, right? The kids had virtual snow days and Aaron had to stay home from work for a couple of days. It was a complete switch in weather. But we made the most of it. Liam, for whatever reason, loves to shovel the snow off of our driveway. One day I remember he asked to shovel it a few times. Hey, whatever works.
Like every other kid in this area, he made his way outside to play. He found himself making snowballs and sledding with friends and having the best time. He was happy. As I type this, our icy roads, sidewalks, ice covered trees, and driveways are slowly melting. I'm sure this won't be the last of the winter storms for us. I'm kind of hoping, though. I'm just happy we didn't lose power!
