Since it had been so incredibly hot outside, our yard was starting to look like we lived in a desert. There were brown spots everywhere. Normally I wouldn't water during the daytime hours, but I really felt like I had no choice. Liam's friends saw the water and asked if they could play in it. I didn't mind. I just knew they had to be burning up. They quickly ran to their houses to ask their parents and grab their swim trunks. Those little guys had the best time. I got to water my lawn and give the neighborhood kids something to do, all while keeping them cool. I love the simplicity of just being together.
