At this stage we are still quarantining, but still working and waiting for school to start. CDC has been back and forth on information which is confusing a lot of people. We're all feeling isolated, worried, and boredom is setting in. People are making plans to head out of town because they are tired of being cooped up inside. Some people are refusing to wear their masks or any kind of protection because they say they can't be controlled by the government or it's all a hoax. There have been non-stop protests and riots in Louisville and other parts of the country. Cities are burning to the ground and nobody seems to care. It's like the world has gone completely coconuts. Some days I feel like I am living in a movie, thinking this can't be real life and someone somewhere is going to yell out, "Cut!". And then I think, where's Ashton Kutcher? Surely we are being punked and he's going to pop out from an unexpected place. There's a part of me that hopes that is true and all goes back to normal. Whatever that is now.
So, here we are. Day 15,983 of the virus. Liam makes his way to his brother's room. I smelled trouble brewing. Landon's not a big fan of people being in his room, especially uninvited.
The first inflatable we got. It was HOT outside!! After a little while, the top ring got a hole and we were having to dump the water and fill it up ALL. THE. TIME. No, thank you. We moved on to a pool with a pump later on. So much better.
That water was freezing!
The second pool.
