Happy Halloween!

Halloween is always a fun time for us.  Trick-or-treating and Landon's birthday fall around the same time.  We also have this tradition that my best friend and her two boys come over to trick-or-treat and then stay for some chili later that evening.  The kids fill their faces with all of the candy they worked hard for and then run amok through the house on their sugar high.  It's always fun, even if Halloween does land on a school night.  I sure do feel sorry for those teachers the next day.  Phew.

Landon came to me and told me he wanted to do something different this year.  He has always loved dressing in scary/creepy costumes (once he started choosing them), but I guess it was time to change the game.  He picked out all of the clothes and accessories online himself.  His choice this year was Japanese Anime Girl.  Landon asked me if I would do his makeup.  I never in a million years thought I would ever hear that come out of his mouth.  It was oddly satisfying, ha ha!

Liam still doesn't care too much as long as it doesn't affect him sensory-wise.  I came up with something unique this time.  Sometimes you get tired of seeing other kids in the same costume as your kid and it's a nice change.  So, I bought him a Voodoo Doll costume.  I thought if anyone else is wearing this costume, I simply give up on Halloween altogether!

And boy was it freezing!!!  Yikes!
