This place is unbelievably cool. Some say you need to be religious to fully enjoy the experience, but I disagree. Yes, there's a lot of scripture. Yes, Noah is obviously in the Bible. Yes, God is mentioned 15, 347, 291 times throughout the tour, one way or another. But don't let that deter you if that's not your thing. It's very educational and interesting regardless of what your background may be. I can't say it's for small children, as in toddlers or a little bit older (a lot of reading and I mean
a lot of reading
and kiddos were losing their minds quickly), but overall it's a nice getaway for the family if you have the time and patience. The zoo was pretty cool, too! That usually comes after you've spent hours and hours aboard The Ark (mostly from reading). I think it took us seven or eight hours total!
First things first. The bus ride to The Ark. Leave it to them to build a parking lot out in no man's land.
The Ark in the distance.
He was trying to eat my purse. Ha ha!
