Christmas Eve Liam told me he was getting me up early in the morning to open presents. That was a change. Normally I have to wake everyone up and even that is a challenge. This year was different and not sure why. Luckily everyone slept in until about 8 am. But boy I had some excited kiddos. Yes, plural. At that point I really started to get into it...okay,
maybe after a cup of coffee. The boys asked for only a few things. They are those kids that don't want the extra stuff just so they can open a lot. If I buy random stuff such as underwear, socks, clothes, gloves, etc., they just look disappointed. We've definitely learned our lesson. Liam only asked for 3D and/or 4D puzzles, magnetic beads, and maybe a toy and/or game of some sort (nothing specific). Landon asked for phone accessories, sunglasses, and a trench coat. See what I mean? Doesn't sound all that thrilling, but they were over-the-moon on Christmas. If they're happy, we're happy.
Landon told Liam that he could go first.
This is what Christmas is all about, folks.
Liam got this from Grandma. He wanted to go downstairs and be with her while he opened it. So sweet.
I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!
