Santa Came to Visit

Christmas Eve Liam told me he was getting me up early in the morning to open presents. That was a change. Normally I have to wake everyone up and even that is a challenge. This year was different and not sure why. Luckily everyone slept in until about 8 am. But boy I had some excited kiddos. Yes, plural. At that point I really started to get into it...okay, maybe after a cup of coffee. The boys asked for only a few things. They are those kids that don't want the extra stuff just so they can open a lot. If I buy random stuff such as underwear, socks, clothes, gloves, etc., they just look disappointed. We've definitely learned our lesson. Liam only asked for 3D and/or 4D puzzles, magnetic beads, and maybe a toy and/or game of some sort (nothing specific). Landon asked for phone accessories, sunglasses, and a trench coat. See what I mean? Doesn't sound all that thrilling, but they were over-the-moon on Christmas. If they're happy, we're happy.
