The Burj Khalifa

I have never met a kid quite like Liam before. He is obsessed with buildings (skyscrapers to be exact) and geography. He loves our country, but more importantly, he loves what's in it (e.g. Statue of Liberty). He studies the states and occasionally we will go through the capitals of each state. He loves finding out about the height of a building or the tallest building in the world. He wants to talk about its design and how many floors and windows the building has. He's into structures, like the St. Louis Arch. He finds them to be very cool (his words). Everyone keeps telling us that he will be an architect one day, but it's hard to see that far into the future since there are so many more things to explore. Who knows where his path will lead, but for now I just focus on what's in front of me - a nine-year-old boy who loves to build and finds buildings and structures interesting. I will say, this little puppy was not easy to put together.
