I can't express enough how much I love the neighborhood we moved into. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They plan events for the kids and adults such as Easter egg hunts, movie nights (kids and adults), swim parties, girls' night, wine parties, 4th of July get-togethers, cookouts, talent shows, and a back-to-school ice cream social! I'm sure there are other events as well, we just haven't gotten that far into the year yet. You really get a sense of safety, community and strong friendships here. We even have our own private neighborhood Facebook page for all of us to communicate. All the kids play well together, too!
They had flyers made for this year's Ice Cream Social event to put in everyone's mailbox. The kids were excited to get their hands on some ice cream and play with the other kids. They had books to read and bubbles galore. Everyone, including the adults, had an awesome time! I took a few pictures, but I was too busy watching the kids and socializing.
