PVMS Scholar Night 2016

Landon was selected, and invited, to join some of his classmates on Scholar Night for his good grades and high GPA.  You had to have a 3.0 and above to be invited.  He has a 3.83.  He was proud of himself as were we.  Aaron was able to attend before having to head back to work.  It makes me so happy when Aaron can participate, and I know how much Landon appreciates him being there.

What's really impressive to me is Landon having ADHD and doing so well academically.  Typically kids with the disorder don't do well in that department due to their lack of focus and forgetfulness.  They are all over the place.  Even with medication, they still don't do as well.  Landon hasn't been on medication in years and making all A's with an occasional B.  We are beyond blessed to have such a wonderful son.  For the last year or so he has been talking about what he wants to go to school for and what school he wants to attend.  He's only 12, but he sure does seem to know what he wants.  I told him that he can go wherever he wants and be whatever he wants to be with hard work and dedication.  I just want him to be happy.  We will not put any pressure on him when it comes to a college.  I figured he would do so much better if he is left in charge.  We will see what the next few years bring and if he changes his mind.

You'll have to excuse the quality of the pictures.  It was very dark in the auditorium that night.
