A Christmas City Adventure

To start this off...wow, what a beautiful weekend of nice weather! I had to work on Saturday so we decided to do some family stuff on Sunday. Usually Sunday is a day of relaxation (or sometimes work for me) and football. It was nice to be able to get out and explore the city a little while since we had the perfect opportunity. Plus, I just had a photoshoot in the same part of the city and found some cute things that I thought the boys would like to see. Liam is really into Christmas lights and decor so I knew he would be fine. I wasn't too sure if Landon would be up for the adventure being older now. I was worried at first that he would be bummed out and begging us to go home, but he totally surprised me! He was soooo sweet to his baby brother. I caught them being loving on several occasions. He made the best of it and had a wonderful time. All of us did!

You'll have to excuse Landon's goofy smile. *sigh*

Then we started walking around to see what else we could find.

As the boys walked ahead of us, we noticed they were sitting on a bench holding Liam's knee. I asked Landon what was going on and he said that Liam accidentally bumped his knee into the bench. Nothing like a big bro to come to a little bro's rescue.

Then we saw Schimpff's across the street. We thought it would be a nice treat for the kids, but then remembered it was Sunday and they were closed. So, we moved along.

We stopped to let the boys watch the ice skaters for a few minutes.

There have been a lot of changes going on in and around our city. This has all been redone and looks a ton better than it did before. I can't wait to see what they do next!
