The Griswold's Family Vacation (post 6 of 8): Wonderworks

This is fun for all ages!  There are a gazillion exhibits of things to do.  Landon was in awe and lost for hours, especially with the science stuff.  After was all said and done and we felt we had conquered it all, there was more!  At the end of our time there, Landon, Aaron, and Kati played Laser Tag together while Liam and I headed downstairs for some fresh air.  Did I mention that there are also a gazillion fire-breathing kids in that place?  All of the hot air made me hot.  The cooler air never felt so good!  This place is a blast!

Note:  There were colored lights everywhere, so please excuse the different lighting and color casts.

This reminded me of "The Shining".  Creepy.

They had a barrel with a hole in it so you could stick your hand inside to feel how cold the water was.  No wonder Jack froze to death.  Brrrr!

This is also a part of the Titanic exhibit.  You may not be able to tell from the photograph, but this is the different angles of the boat during the time of sinking (at three different time frames).  The one that Aaron is on is when the boat was minutes from going under (before Rose and Jack laid on the back of the boat's railing).  I couldn't imagine.  I could barely hang on, and that is with Wonderwork's floor grips and hand railing!

 

Everything's upside down.  Very cool place!
